Finding Quarterdeck
Quarterdeck is located at the northern end of Wharfe Street, directly opposite St Luke's Hall.
Set slightly above street level and tucked behind private garden landscaping, it can be easy to miss on your first approach.
Look for a light grey house with large windows and distinctive blue flower boxes - you've found home!

Finding the Entrance
Once you've located Quarterdeck and parked, head up the four steps beside the letterbox, then take a sharp right. Follow the ramped pathway up to the entrance deck, where you'll find the lockbox beside the sliding door.

Where to Park
Free street parking is available for up to 2-3 vehicles directly outside Quarterdeck on Wharfe Street.
Wharfe Street is wide and generally quiet, making parking convenient and easily accessible throughout your stay.
Please take care not to obstruct neighbouring driveways or access.
And with so much of Oamaru within easy walking distance, you may find you can simply park the car and leave it there while you explore on foot.
Check-In

Quarterdeck offers easy self check-in, so you can arrive and settle in at your own pace.
Check-in Time - From 2pm
There's no need to meet us or collect keys elsewhere - everything you need to access Quarterdeck will be ready for your arrival.
Once you're inside, make yourself at home, take in the view and start enjoying your stay.
Arriving later?
No problem. With self check-in, you're welcome to arrive at any time after the designated check-in time.
Early Check-in?
We understand that sometimes you may arrive in Ōamaru a little earlier than planned. Early check-in may be available on request, and where we can accommodate it, we’re always happy to do so.
As our housekeeping team needs sufficient time to prepare Quarterdeck beautifully between guests, early check-in cannot always be guaranteed, particularly when we have guests departing on the same day.
Please contact us a day or two before your arrival to check availability. We’ll let you know as soon as Quarterdeck is ready to welcome you.
Access
Easy self check-in
Quarterdeck offers easy self check-in via a secure lockbox. Your unique lockbox code is provided in your Guest Check-In Letter and, for security, is not displayed in this compendium.
Booked through Booking.com?
Your Guest Check-In Letter was sent to you through Booking.com. Log in to your Booking.com account or app, locate your booking and check your messages for the letter and lockbox code.
Please note: The four digit code provided by Booking.com relates to your booking pin code and is not the lockbox code for Quarterdeck. You will only find the lockbox code in your check-in letter.
Booked through Airbnb?
Your Guest Check-In Letter was sent through Airbnb. Log in to your Airbnb account or app, open your Quarterdeck reservation and check your messages for the letter and lockbox code.
Booked directly with Stylish Stays NZ?
Your Guest Check-In Letter was sent to the email address provided with your booking. Search your inbox for an email from Stylish Stays NZ containing your check-in information and lockbox code.
Can't find your code?
Don't worry - We can help! Just get in touch and we'll be happy to assist.
Locate the lockbox
The lockbox is located to the right of the main entrance (sliding door).

Enter the code
Line up the four numbers with the centre mark on the lockbox, then hold down the black button and gently pull the front flap open to retrieve the key from inside the box.
Once you have the key, please close the lockbox securely and shuffle the number combination so your access code is no longer visible.
When you check out, please remember to return the key to the lockbox, close it securely and shuffle the numbers again.
